About

Sydney based lead product designer. I focus on balancing user's needs with business needs.

Having worked across a range of disciplines over the years, I’ve developed a holistic approach to design. My background includes roles as a flash designer/developer, front-end developer, digital designer, and product designer—skills that have added an extra layer of understanding for my clients and employers.

I have experience working across diverse environments: large and small agencies, in-house teams, freelance projects, and contracting positions. I’ve collaborated closely with external agencies, marketing and CX teams, developers (both front and back end), QA testers, product managers, and senior stakeholders.

My broad background includes working in agile environments, partnering with copywriters, and even being seconded as an art director at a client’s office. I’ve independently managed brands and creative directed a corporate rebrand while leading a small design team.

In my current role, I:

  • Mentor junior and mid-weight employees

  • Streamline workflows between internal departments

  • Manage resourcing

  • Contribute to performance reviews

  • Refine and implement design systems at a brand and company level, champion design documentation and improvements in our overall approach to design

  • Foster strong relationships between product and other internal teams to drive our team performance

  • I’ve helped create, launch, and support BINGE, Flash News, and Hubbl from conception through to BAU, while helping grow these products post-launch alongside Kayo Sports. My design contributions to these products include:

    • Visual design of product features

    • User experience of product features

    • Translating brand elements into our product framework

    • Exploring content representation across our platforms

    • Ensuring our product is creatively and accurately portrayed in marketing collateral.
